I Made Krisna's Times My Way to Write the Times

SE W960i Gmail Settings

Now, i want to share my experience how to set up an email account on Sony Ericsson W960.

Let's get started.....

1. Absolutely turn on your SE W960 first
2. Go get into messaging menus
3. Click More >> Settings >> Email accounts

If you're have no email accounts, click More options then New account...

And if you already have email accounts, click on that account and press select

1. You will find three tabs window
2. First, "Basic" Tab
   1. Account Name : <up to you> e.g. [Gmail]
   2. Your Name : <up to you> e.g. [I Made Krisna]
   3. Email Address : <youremail@gmail.com> e.g. [im.krisna@gmail.com]
   4. Connection Type : POP3
3. Second step, "Inbox" tab
   1. Incoming server address : pop.googlemail.com
   2. Username : <yourmail@googlemail.com> e.g. [im.krisna@googlemail.com]
   3. Password : <yourgmailpassword>
   4. Download Restrictions : No Restriction
   5. [ ] Limit number of emails (unchecked)
   6. Receive using group : Internet
4. "Outbox" tab
   1. Outgoing server address : smtp.googlemail.com
   2. [v] Use SMTP authentication (checked)
   3. [v] Use Inbox login details (checked)
   4. Send using group : Internet
5. Then, click more at bottom left >> Advanced
6. "Incoming" tab
   1. Secure Connection : SSL
   2. Incoming mail port : 995
   3. [ ] Secure password authentication (unchecked)
7. "Outgoing" tab
   1. Secure Connection : SSL
   2. Outgoing mail port : 465
   3. [ ] Use MIME encoding (unchecked)
8. DONE!!

Back to messaging and select your email account, click More and get & send
