great post! learn a lot but slight problems, you should mention that using replace(), it a bit case-sensitive.. i tried and after i make some changes, it works! just want to share, dunno either it just version problems or yours..fyi,my version is mySQL 5.5..that’s all,thanks~

Refering to my first answer, this program just relaying the raw request and response from web browser to web server.

So when you need to detect it’s ajax request or not i’ve never done it and didn’t know the difference between ajax and non-ajax request.

But Here my another 2 qusetions:-

1-How to detect the ajax & javascript requests..?
I’ve installed squid as a proxy server & succeeded to access it’s AccessLog file & get the most browsed site through my algorithm,
but the problem is to cache it in squid cache,because it is little complicated.

So I want to cache the site in my system (system where the program run), & return response to user from my cache not the web server.

2- when i set firefox proxy settings to port no.: 9000, the program runs, but firefox doesn’t access the internet.. How to make the program transparent?

Hello, First thanks for your interest in my post. If you want to store the response in an access file, you may modify the code around: while(destServerSocket.Receive(responseBuffer) != 0){ //Console.Write(ASCIIEncoding.ASCII.GetString(responseBuffer)); this.clientSocket.Send(responseBuffer);} store the responseBuffer in an access file, but if you want to use this project as proxy server, this project still have a lot of incompatible issues with non-simple website (ex using ajax, javascript, etc)

First, Thank you

i want to use this project as a proxy server, I mean I want to connect through it to the internet as (ex: squid) so that, my Lap Top receives requests from my PC & store them in an access file & then returns back the response..

How can i do that & how to connect them?

Thanks for your program. Unfortunately there some minor errors:

In C you should use MPI_INT instead of MPI_INTEGER. MPI_INTEGER is used in Fortran. This mistake causes to “Null Datatype pointer” in MPI_Send and MPI_Recv.

I can’t find any problems with your code. It served as an excellent reference as I adapted it to a multiply-constrained unbounded knapsack problem I was solving.

However, there is an issue with your reference website and thus with your code. This isn’t actually a branch and bound algorithm. There is no bound, just branching. Typically, this is called a backtracking algorithm. It is set up just like a BB but just with no bound implemented.

To add the bound, you only have to make a small modification. Right before the expansion, calculate the maximum theoretical floating point profit that could be achieved from expansion (it will likely be an overestimate but that is fine) and use it to see if it is worth continuing with expansion. Something like this should work:

float bound = maxWeight*v[leastSignificant+1]/(float)w[leastSignificant+1];
if (currentValue + bound < maxValue)
